Further request implementations and changes in combat


And here we are ! 

In todays update, we managed to implement most of the requested changes from the RPG Maker forums.
Honestly, I'm really happy how it went with the development and I am really happy with the end result.
The changes really did raise the demo/game to a new height. Thank you for that hiddenone !

Onwards to the changes !


CHANGES

  • PREPARE YOUR PARTY - first things first, when a new game is started, before you can move your character, you are offered to prepare your party with some kind of skill, magic, medicine or stat increase. This way you can start the game with a party that has something instead of blank sheets. And also, less chance of dying before you find all the trainers
  • NAME COLOURING - when raising the stats of your characters, the names are coloured in green or red. This indicates which character has enough SP to increase the selected stat (the current SP part still exists, which appears later)
  • CHANGES TO THE COMBAT - currently, because of the graphical limitations of the sprites that come in the Time Fantasy pack, characters hit with whatever the sprite has (and they aren't using weapon graphics so they effectively don't have weapons equipped). So... I decided to go the cheap way out and completely remove the side-view battle and go for the front-view battle. This also includes that there are new enemies, or old ones with new graphics. All enemies that appear have new graphics and I must admit, I thought it would look like crap, but it did manage to somewhat blend nicely and it's not so bad.
  • Other smaller bug fixes that include text windows on wrong parts of the screen, battle order covering battle text and so on...
